AeroPress

Experience the full potential of your AeroPress with this easy to follow, step by step process. From preparing your equipment to pressing out a rich, flavourful coffee.

What You'll Need

• AeroPress
• AeroPress filter
• Freshly ground Millennium coffee
• Hot water
• Stirring utensil
• Timer

Step 1

Preparation

Insert a filter into your AeroPress filter cap and rinse with hot water. This helps remove any paper taste. Assemble the AeroPress by placing the filter cap onto the chamber and securing it tightly. Place the AeroPress on top of your mug or cup.

Step 2

Grind Coffee

Grind your Millennium coffee beans to a medium to fine consistency, similar to table salt. You’ll need 15g of ground Millennium coffee.

Step 3

Measure water

Measure 200ml of hot water or 200g.

Step 4

Brewing

Once you’ve measured your ingredients, add the coffee to the AeroPress chamber. Start your timer and pour hot water over the grounds, you want this as even as possible. Stir the coffee and water gently for around 10 seconds.

Step 5

Pressing

After stirring, insert the plunger into the AeroPress chamber and press down gently but steadily. You want a consistent pressure when doing this and should take around 20 – 30 seconds when doing this.

Step 6

Relax & Enjoy

Once you’ve pressed out all the coffee, remove the AeroPress from your mug.
Serve and enjoy.
